Raising Their Game: Rueben Randle

This is the first in a series of articles i’ll be writing titled, Raising Their Game.

I’ll be focusing on players, who I think, will improve in 2014 and become fantasy football stars. These are players that you’ll be looking to target in the middle rounds of your draft come august.
I wouldn’t technically call them sleepers, (I believe sleepers are for the very late rounds of your draft), but these players could represent great value for your fantasy football team.

Rueben Randle
Remember the name. The third year wideout from the NY Giants is an immense talent.

He has both the potential and the ability to become a stud WR in the NFL and fantasy football for years to come.

Randle showed some of his talent last year by scoring 6 touchdowns through a 6 week stretch. Not bad considering he was the third choice WR in a dysfunctional offense.

With Hakeem Nicks now departed to the Colts, Randle has been elevated to the starting lineup and will be the WR2 on offence next season, which presents him with a great opportunity to score loads of fantasy points.

In 2013, Randle payed in roughly 60 percent of the Giants offensive snaps, compared to Nicks 91 percent, so you would believe that Randle is going to see a heck of a lot more action this year with Nicks gone.

Also, the appointment of new OC Ben McAdoo from the Green Bay Packers, will boost the whole offence, with less complicated plays and shorter routes to help receivers.

With a better offensive line and the improvements the Giants have made on Defence so far this off season, they are giving their offence a better chance to be more successful with the ball and be on the field for longer periods of time.
Eli Manning also has to raise his game and find some of the magic from previous years to help lift the offence.

2014 could prove to be a massive year for Rueben Randle. He now has the opportunity, to go along with his potential and ability, to be a big time playmaker for the Giants and your fantasy football team. He will be a great WR3/FLEX option next season, with the upside to be a WR2.

Grab him if he falls in your direction and reap the rewards, because i believe, he will one of the players that will raise their game in 2014.
